Thanks To All

Thanks to all who have offered your opinions on my dilemma below. I think I'll withdraw from teaching classes, & run with my ideas for a new design, & spend my time & energy producing a better & more upscale design. I've always said I had too little time & too many ideas .

At least you've decided what is best for you! I'm glad to hear that you have some resolution. I can't wait to see all of the wonderful ideas you crank out, now that you're focused on moving forward!!!! :)

If you need I can send 5 guys over to her house and put a lean on her for some cash. I know a couple that wil be flying into AK tomorrow. She will open the door and be like "Why are The Posies at my house?"

(See they don't sound so tough when I say the band name.) :-(

Jon left you a message about maybe hanging out in the afternoon on Thurs. Any interest? How about going to the show?

love
your kidlette

Sorry to hear about this. Seems to be so common now. I think you made a wise decision. Copycats appear to be getting the better of those they copy but I'm very sure that knowing you are only a pale imitation of others is a pretty miserable existance. I look forward to seeing your new work!

Good for you! Moving forward is so much better than standing still gnashing your teeth! Power to you!

You're going to get this with anything that you do that is good. I sell dyes and dyed fabrics, and I have dye customers who now sell their dyed fabric in opposition to me. Such is life. I'm now developing a style of fabric that's different from the usual, and I'll focus on staying different from the "crowd". Also, remember, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
