Virtual Craziness

I was on call last night & got called in. I can’t complain, it’s the first time I’ve been called in on a call night since before Thanksgiving. I’ve never had such a good long run of good Call Karma.
I only got 2 hours of sleep though. The cat & life just conspired against me, so I’m a little punch drunk today, & don’t have any ambition for anything.
I decided to do another quilty sketch today. I guess my computer is my Sketchbook. I went a little Crazy with this one. It was simple, mindless fun, which describes me pretty well right now.. Simple, & mindless!

PS. this is post #596. I think it's time for another little give-away, to celebrate when I reach # 600. So leave comments on this through # 600, & 24 hours after posting  #600, I will put all of the comments in the drawing & draw one out for a prise.Something handmade by me of course.

I do value all of your comments! Thanks so much! Warm hugs from Alaska,
Deb

Crazy For my Camera

I got my camera back this week. It's so nice to have it again. Now if I could just figure out where I put my 2GB card for it! Grrr...
It's working beautifully, & they cleaned it up nicely. Back to "Factory spec." I snapped a few pictures of the crazy quilt. I actually haven't worked on it much this past week. I am re-reading the "Twilight" series, & can't get my nose out of them any better than the first time I read them!
I've added buttons & beads, & some funky yarns, & different stitches.
Here's a little better picture of the eyeglass cabochon.

I love stones too, so I put this agate on with some old lace under it.
Here I used a bit of artificial Abalone for the center of a flower.
This design was quilted on first, then embellished with beads & yarn.
We had a reprieve in the weather for a while, but today we got a good foot of snow in the yard again. It feels like winter is starting all over.

Threadplay & crazy clock updates

Allie asked me what sort of hoop I used.
This is my favorite hoop for threadplay. It fits easily inder the pressure foot, & I can spin the metal part around out of the way when needed.
These are my earrings, bracelet & pin/slide that I made to wear at my son's wedding. It's threadplay/painting with a little bead embellishment.
The last few pictures are closeups of parts of my Crazy clock, that are finished. I seem to be becoming a beader as well as a quilter!
