What I've been up to

Besides watching the Olympics, this is what I've been doing these past couple of days. I've packed up 4 boxes of "Stuff" for classes in Michigan. Most of which will be left there.
& one big box of quilts for my Trunk show/ Lecture. I'm afraid the postage is going to be more than I'm making!

Today I had my Physical Therapy appointment. Ginny , my PT, says I'm a little bit ahead of where she would expect me to be, & that I am a good poster child for the knee surgery. I was pretty achey when I left there though.

She suggested I get a big ball & use it in the evening before bed to loosen up my Quad muscle, & maybe then I'll be able to sleep better.
So here it is. My big ball. Poor Broccoli is freaked out by it. I guess I won't be seeing him much at night with this in my bedroom!

I have a big ball like that too except mine is blue. Kramer didn't much like it either when I first got it. He has gotten used to it now as long as it doesn't roll near him. Broc will get used to it just give him time.

Patients do get great results with those balls. Kudos on the great rehab!

think the big ball would scare me first thing in the morning, good to hear that you are doing so well :-)

I can't blame poor ole broccoli. (My ball is in the closet - I think it needs some air...)

Tell us more about that crazy quilt on your bed. Do you "use it?" (For sleeping - you obviously use it to make the bad.)

Is that crazy quilt made from the blocks you won at Pals? I love mine, it has a lot of great memories.

Hi Deb,
Hope that your class goes well in Michigan. Your alphabet turned out just great.

Its nice to hear you are recovering well from the surgery.
Keep up the good work.
