SUNday! Quilting

jAN 005

Today I awoke with something strange in my eyes! The sun had actually risen & the sky was almost all blue! It’s the most sun we’ve seen in weeks. Broc enjoyed the open window, & caught a few rays.

I worked on Jan’s quilt most of the day so far. It’s about 1/2 done.

I have found that taking pictures of it, the quilting shows best if I don’t use a flash. You can click on the images to get a closer look if you like.

Oh my gracious, is your work on Jan's quilt the most beautiful thing. This is one of my lost dreams, to quilt so fine as you are doing. I am so in awe. Also, your Broc looks like my Shadow who has been gone now for about 20 yrs. and I still miss him. He was so smart and so affectionate. He would bring gifts of mice, moles and even a rabbit once, and leave them on the steps for me to see what he was doing for me.

I don't think there's anyone who could design and execute a more beautiful quilting design. How are you going to top this one?!?

Very beautiful! I could never use a white background because I would get blood on it trying to handquilt, LOL

That is a gorgeous quilt, both the quilt itself and the quilting! I hope you can show pictures of the whole thing after it's finished.
