Autumn Inspiration

This fella took a nap in our yard yesterday. Isn't he handsome in his homely moosie way?

Today I took a little walk around our yard, looking for a little autumn inspiration.
Termination dust has been on the mountains behind the house for a few days now.

This is what I made after my walk.
Oh, by the way, ...If you want to be my neighbor, this house is for sale!

Such beauty around you! Although the house for sale does appeal to me, I think I'm much too wimpy for Alaska's cold. Besides, my mother might do something drastic should I announce that I was moving the grandkids to Alaska. :)

You are right she would!

The pictures are beautiful-the moose is so shiny, silky and dark-I wonder if his fiber is spinnable?!

Love your little quilt!

I'd love to be your neighbor. It would be very cool to see a moose in my yard from time to time. The deer aren't interesting to me anymore. :)

Beautiful scenery, and it looks like a lovely house. And you made such a lovely piece.

You know I would love to be your neighbor. How big is the house and what is it going for?

"Termination dust" is the first snow on the mountains. It is called that so you terminate your summer activities and get ready for winter.

Beautiful! I'll gladly move there as soon as my local grandkids stop being so darn cute!
