Denali Memories Quilt & A dress

“How about them apples?” That’s what Michelle is calling this dress that I made for her. She likes to say she was the “Producer” for it. I made it in a day & 1/2 for her.

This last little figure is a needle felted little lady that my DD Michelle made for me while we were playing in my studio together. Michelle & Darian have flown home to Seattle tonight, so life will be back to dull old normal now. Sigh…

Speaking of good memories, remember stitching along the river in Denali? We were so intent a moose walked past us and we missed it! I love your memory piece, even better to make it while living it.
Your daughters dress turned out beautiful, you are so multitalented.
