Autumn

Here is the next quilt on Lily. It belongs to Dr Shirley Fraser. I am using Hobbs Wool batting, & it is quilting up beautifully. I don't have much energy though, so it's going to take me longer than I'd like. My lungs are a mess right now. Breathing is difficult. Even with my inhaler. That dose of mold inhaled from a container of Cream Cheese, has done me no good at all.
Yesterday & this morning it rained. When the clouds lifted there was "Termination Dust" on the mountains behind our house.
Winter is on it's way here.

We always have really high mold counts in Virginia in August and September. It does a number on my sinuses and lungs so I know how you feel. Chris and I were talking today that once I retire that we might consider moving somewhere else so I can have more than 3 months (winter) of relief each year. Hope you feel better soon.

Hope you're feeling better, Deb. When were you back east? I was just back there. Connecticut for my niece's wedding and PA to visit family. I'm in Colorado now, and by the looks of your pictures, it will be winter by the time I get back up there in October. Not getting much quilting done these days.

What a stunning view.. Spring is making itself felt where I am. I can't wait to see how you quilt the body of that quilt. Hope you feel better soon.

Beautiful quilt, and beautiful scenery, but I'm sure the weather change doesn't help your breathing either.

Congratulations on your crazy quilt award, by the way Well deserved.

Hello from Michigan.

I am so sorry your lungs are still battling the mold you inhaled from the cream cheese. I hope your feeling well very soon.

Love the photos of your trip to the East and West coast.

Your machine quilting is truly lovely.

It has been a longgggggggggg time since I heard the words "Termination Dust". It brought back good memories.

I just finished reading a book called Dawn's Prelude by Tracie Peterson. It is a fictional book which main story is about adventures of life in Sitka. I read it in 4 days and I could hardly sit it down.

Hugs Judy
