That's what I would call this if it were my own. "Fiesta Round Robin". This is a client quilt that I finished this week. I used rulers & got more comfortable with them.
I also did more feathers.
I also did more feathers.
I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.
This week I have ordered more thread for the next client quilts, & am working on my own thread paintings for the show I will be involved in during July.
I've only worked 2 days at the hospital in the past 4 weeks. Quilting has been my life lately & I'm loving every minute of it.
My poor husband caught a bad cold right at the end of his last rotation at work (the hazard in being a Respiratory Therapist). He has been vegetating in the recliner, or in front of the TV a lot lately. I'm keeping my distance, hoping to avoid his fate. Making soup, & feeding him, but otherwise staying away!

Nice quilting! I'm finding the biggest challenge I have is deciding what design to use! Shortly I will post the quilt I've been experimenting on. I recognize the 'fireworks' looking fabric!
Poor Warren! Lousy to be sick in your down time. Sarah has a tendency to do that. Gets sick during vacations.
The girls are at MI Adventure today. Field trip for being on the Honor Roll all year!
What could be better than a life of quilting? Good for you!! And that quilt is beautiful.
Tel Warren that if he gets chiropractic adjustments it will boost his immune system and help him get over colds faster or avoid them all together! ;-)
And good on you for the art for work stuff! I hope someday that I can make a living off my art.
Pretty quilting!
This is a beautiful quilt and your quilting makes it a work of art! Love that you are stretching your wings, too, it is encouraging to the rest of us!
I have had a cold for the last 3 weeks and haven't been able to kick it. I hope Warren feels better soon.
Nice job as always on the quilt!
Beautiful quilting Deb!! Top rate! I especially like how you carried the lines of the... don't know what to call it... the center circle thing-a-ma-giggy :-)... out into the background. That is such a neat idea. Note to self: remember that!!
I love the ourside boarders on the quilt, and your quilting brings it all to life.
Just super quilting! You will be kissing that hospital good-bye before very long!
Beautiful! I'm always impressed by the way the quilting adds to the quilt!
