Sunday, a day of rest?

I finished this neck purse for Gail Garber, who will be coming to the ALCQ to teach this week. I painted it after I quilted it. I am happy with how it turned out.
This is the view from the road I live on. I walked down the hill today because it was so nice again, I just HAD to get outside. The customer quilt (another by Margery Waggood) that I finished today, has colors similar to the photo above. It was a very soothing quilt to work on.
I was over staffed but put on call for tomorrow. I'm hoping to stay home & get the next quilt on the frame. I have 2 more in hand, & will be picking up at least 5 more on Thursday. Most of those don't need to be done any time soon though, so I'll have time to get back to working on pieces for the show in July.

Beautiful quilt - beautiful view. I don't think I would ever tire of mountain scenery. Michigan is a fine place to live - but it is flat.
