Inertia

I'm saying inertia, because that's how it's been for me with blogging lately. Each time I set myself down to blog, I get stuck & feel overwhelmed & have so many things I want to post about that I ultimately end up posting nothing!

So here is just a small sample of some of the projects I've worked on lately. This first pair of quilts are made from clothes, from my daughter's best friend who died in December. They were small, sleeveless tank tops , one sweater, a couple of bikinis & I threw in a little denim for filler. I used every scrap, even weaving together the seam allowances that I had cut off. They are being sent to the 2 young daughters.
The next 2 Poppy pieces are leftover projects from my friend Carol, who died December 2014. Things she had started, I'm now finishing to donated to the guild small quilt auction.

I also thought I would throw in the interesting sky we had a couple of months ago.  It was like we had a hole in the clouds,

& as I sat & watched it turned into a heart shape. Love from above!

So nice to catch up with you....simple and now helps to keep the blog guilt away! lol
I love that you finished the poppy quilts-they are beautiful and it is beautiful that you gave them life! The cloud phenomena is so cool!
