Disney day-Animal Kingdom

Nearly every morning the princesses came in & got us out of bed . We loved it!
The got autograph books to have signed by all of the Disney characters.

On the way to the shuttle we always spotted a few lizards. Darian was the best at finding them.
We went separate ways that day. Darian had some rides she wanted to do at Epcot. She saw 3 people pass out from the heat that day.

Grammy bought bubble guns for the kids.

Our day in the Animal Kingdom temperatures went up to 104 with high humidity. We carried bottles of water frozen in our freezer the night before, & hand held mister-fans, bought cold neck cloths, & rested a lot along the way.

Maeve was such a good little sport.

The safari ride was the highlight of that day.

Dinner that day had several more characters.

Maeve was not impressed.

Not at all.

I liked the quilterly look of the metal Lion King sign.

Your flower quilt is beautiful also, love the flowers they almost look real. Great close up of the flowers.

Thanks Kathy &Cindy too!
I just got these 3 posts up this past weekend. I have more pictures to post but have to wait until the next day off! Too much computer time combined with what I do at work, causes hand pain!

got save my hands for quilting!
