Snow Storm- Environment Challenge

environ 004

This is the latest challenge I have been working on, for the “Fiberactions” group. The Challenge word this time was “Environment”. Well this is my environment for about 2/3  of my year. SNOW!

I used Glow-in-the-dark thread & fabric to create the snow & snowflakes. Below is a picture I took under black light to show the detail of the Glow-in-the-dark parts.

This really was a fun project. Please check out the others at Fiberactions.

This is very cool (no pun intended, sorry)! I love the glow-in-the-dark feature.

After 26 years of living in upstate NY/Chicago but nearly eight years in the south now, I have become a wimp about cold weather. We have been snowed/iced in for nearly a week here in north Georgia and I am ready for warmth and grass again...so the amount of snow you live with is a bit staggering! :)

Stunning! We have had far too many frosty mornings (no snow gratefully!) but I can appreciate your creativity on the quilted piece!

I love your snowflakes, too much fun with the glow-in-the dark threads. Great frosty piece.
