it all started with my DH saying "Something is wrong". He hasn't felt well, for the past 4 days or so. He's had a nagging pain in his low back, that he's been taking Motrin for. He felt he had pulled a muscle, but then he was nauseated yesterday, & thismorning he had a sharp pain in his right groin. Well I thought he may have another hernia, or maybe a kidney stone, so off to the ER we went.
6 hours, blood tests, xrays, ultra sounds, & CT scans later, we still don't know for sure what it was, but it doesn't look like any new cancers, & if it was a kidney stone, which it may have been, he passed it! He's feeling ok now, & I'm much relieved.
We stopped at the Moose's Tooth & ate a bowl of soup, then ran down to JC Penney's so I could pick up one item, & Warren circled the block so we didn't have to find parking downtown.
For you snowbirds who have left us for the winter, we are having warm Chinook winds, & last night when the wind died down, we had a lovely thick snowfall. The trees looked like lace when I woke up, but as the sun started to rise around 10a.m., the winds picked up again, & the snow blew off the trees.
It's odd this time of year, when the sun rises & set in the south. One more week, & the days will be getting longer again!

I'm so glad to hear that he was well enough not only to go home, but to drive around the block while you ran into Penney's. Amazing how good you can feel when things turn out well at the emergency room!
Hope he keeps feeling better.
We had a lovely 65 degree F. day here today, thanks to our chinook wind downslope off the Rocky Mountains. People think of Colorado as a cold, snowy place because of the ski resorts (which are mostly on the western slope), but here just east of the mountains we have lots of warm chinooks during the winter. We get most of our snow on the upslope winds.
Warren is looking good! He'd better take care of himself! I'd miss him!!
I went to a wedding shower at a friends house a few years ago and I spent the whole time there studying her border, which I thought was upside down! Must be in our genes.
I'm glad he's ok - better safe then sorry.
Your weather comments are interesting - it's summer here, though still fairly cool at night. The sun is rising at 5.45am and setting at 9.15pm.
So glad your husband is ok. By coincidence, mine has had some similar symptoms, and is scheduled for x-rays next week. He's had kidney stones before, so that may be it. Fingers crossed.
I'm glad your hubby is okay. I went through the same a few weeks ago with DH.
I am sorry about the mishap with the new iron. :(
So glad your DH is feeling better. I'm sure it took a lot of time out of your busy schedule though. Thanks for the reminder that the days are going to start getting long again.

I'm glad your husband is okay. i've been through that ER thing a couple of times due to stress-induced chest pain. It's scary.
Sorry about the iron! Doesn't that just make you sick?
