It feels like August is trying to make up for July this year. We've had a lovely string of warm summer days, that really feel like summer. Darian & I went out for another hike. We were going to hike from the Potter Creek trail head, but when we got there we realized you have to pay a State Park fee now, & I didn't bring any money with me, so we turned around & went to Potter's Marsh instead. The marsh is just on the south end of Anchorage, * there is a long boardwalk for observing the birds. It's only a few miles down the mountain from our house. All of you who have visited us will recognize it.

Congrats on the increased ROM....
The fireweed topping off also means the blueberries are ready!! We picked 6 quarts this weekend.
Loved your Potters marsh pics....Re: your AROM...don't overdo it Mrs. Hardman!
I love dragonflies too...and hummingbirds.
I have a thing for dragonflies too! One summer we had tons of them at the river.........I got them to land on my fingers and even took a photo or 2.
Sorry to hear you have to go back to work!! Love you!
I love dragonflies too.
More wonderful photos. I'm chiming in on dragonflies, too!
Great photos! We are having the same weather here in Chicagoland as you are. Your photos remind me of the state park where I love going and taking a bike ride or hike.
Happy to hear your shoulder is doing so well. Lovely pictures, thanks for sharing them with us. I am a dragonfly lover also.
Glad your shoulder is improving. Wonderful photos, that fallen tree in the water looks like the greatest sculpture. What is it about dragonflies that gets to us so?
